Bluewater Grill Hauls in Two Prestigious Culinary Awards

The culinary accolades continue for Bluewater Grill as the popular family of sustainable seafood restaurants picks up two prestigious “Best Seafood” awards in Orange County.

Newport Beach and Tustin restaurants voted “Best Seafood” by OC Register and OC Restaurant Association

Bluewater Grill in Newport Beach and Tustin receives “Best Seafood Restaurant” honors in the OC Register “Best of Orange County” awards in 2012.

Determined by the online votes of OC Register readers May 1-31, 2012, the annual awards recognize local products and services in six categories. First-, second- and third-place businesses in each category were determined solely by the total number of reader votes received.

The two Orange County Bluewater Grills were also selected by the Orange County Restaurant Association (OCRA) as one of three finalists for a Golden Foodie Award in the “Best Seafood” category, joining Scott’s Seafood and House of Big Fish and Ice Cold Beer. In their first year, the Golden Foodie Awards recognize local excellence in the restaurant industry, encourage culinary tourism, support local chefs and restaurants, and bring innovative culinary trends to local foodies while inspiring innovative cooking at home.
